Brief About Library

  • A library is a place where books, magazines, newspapers, and other materials are kept and made available for people to borrow or use for reference.
  • They provide a quiet and conducive environment for reading, studying, and research, often equipped with comfortable seating, study areas, and computer workstations.
  • Libraries also offer various services to their patrons, such as borrowing privileges, interlibrary loan services, reference assistance, computer and internet access, printing and photocopying facilities, and educational programs or workshops.

Library Rules and Regulation

    • Entry into library is prohibited (For students only) without Identity card
    • Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the library. Use of cell-phones is also not allowed.
    • Personal books,magazines, etc. are not allowed inside the library.
    • Eatables are strictly prohibited in the library premises.
    • No laptops should be used inside the Reading Hall / Digital Library.
    • No library material can be taken out of the library without permission. Unauthorized removal of anything belonging to the library will be treated as theft and dealt accordingly.
    • Students should not mark, underline, dog-ear, write, tear pages or otherwise damage the library documents.
    • Computer in the e-library should be used for academic purposes only.
    • Playing games on computers is strictly prohibited in the entire Library premises.
    • Students should use property counter for their belongings.

  • BOOKS:-The Library houses around 39229 books in the disciplines Covering Computer science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Humanities and other interdisciplinary areas.
  • JOURNAL:- STM Publication and Journels Pub.
  • NEWS PAPER:- The following News papers are subscribed by Central Library.
